微微秒超短脉冲的光学压缩

在研究了短光纤(L～L_w)中受激喇曼散射的斯托克斯脉冲对基波脉冲能量箝位效应的基础上进行了脉冲压缩实验。以高泵浦功率(P=1600W)注入长度为8.95m绿光单模光纤中,采用双光程的光栅对压缩结构,并引入空间频率窗口滤除自相位调制光谱的非线性啁啾部分,将40ps的锁模Nd:YAG倍频光脉压缩至<5ps。

在分析基于级联二阶非线性效应的准相位匹配周期极化铌酸锂(PPLN)波导全光波长变换器的有关参量容限的基础上,提出PPLN波长变换器的电光调控设想,并给予简要论证,论证结果是可行的,从而可实施电控调谐来自动补偿其失配,进而也可实现光开关的功能 关键词： 准相位匹配 周期极化铌酸锂 波长变换 光开关 电光效应调控     

Optical current transducers using flint glass fiber as the faraday sensor element

This paper describes development of the optical current transducers using flint glass fiber as the Faraday effect sensing element. Excellent polarization properties of the fiber with low birefringence are described, and the design and test data of a current transducer using the fiber manufactured for use in electric power facilities are reviewed. Experimental results on flexible characteristics of a scheme with round trip light transmission in the fiber is also reported.     

Effect of hydrogen on interatomic bonds in austenitic steels

Mössbauer spectroscopy was used to investigate the influence of dissolved hydrogen on the interatomic bonds in austenitic steels. It was carried out to prove the decohesion mechanism of hydrogen embrittlement (HE). It is shown that hydrogen increases Debye temperature, i.e., the interatomic bonds in hydrogenated austenitic steel becomes stronger.     

Chain length effect on dynamical structure of poly (vinyl pyrrolidone)-polar solvent mixtures in dilute solution of dioxane studied by microwave dielectric relaxation measurement

Dielectric relaxation study of the binary mixtures of poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP) (Mw=24000, 40000 and 360000 g mol⁻¹) with ethyl alcohol (EA) and poly(ethylene glycol)s (PEGs) (Mw=200 and 400 g mol⁻¹) in dilute solutions of dioxane were carried out at 10.1 GHz and 35°C. The relaxation time of PVP-EA mixtures was interpreted by the consideration of a wait-and-switch model in the local structure of self-associated ethyl alcohol molecules and also the PVP chain length as a geometric constraint for the reorientational motion of ethyl alcohol molecules. The formation of complexes and effect of PVP chain length on the molecular dynamics, chain flexibility and stretching of PEG molecules in PVP-PEG mixtures were explored from the comparative values of dielectric relaxation time. Further, relaxation time values in dioxane and benzene solvent confirm the viscosity independent molecular dynamics in PVP-EA mixtures but the values vary significantly with the non-polar solvent environment.     

Critical points in the Bragg glass phase of a weakly pinned crystal of Ca3Rh4Sn13

New experimental data are presented on the scan rate dependence of the magnetization hysteresis width ΔM(H) (∞ critical current densityJ _c(H)) in isothermalMH scans in a weakly pinned single crystal of Ca₃Rh₄Sn₁₃, which displays second magnetization peak (SMP) anomaly as distinct from the peak effect (PE). We observe an interesting modulation in the field dependence of a parameter which purports to measure the dynamical annealing of the disordered bundles of vortices injected through the sample edges towards the destined equilibrium vortex state at a givenH. These data, in conjunction with the earlier observations made while studying the thermomagnetic history dependence inJ _c(H) in the tracing of the minor hysteresis loops, imply that the partially disordered state heals towards the more ordered state between the peak field of the SMP anomaly and the onset field of the PE. The vortex phase diagram in the given crystal of Ca₃Rh₄Sn₁₃ has been updated in the context of the notion of the phase coexistence of the ordered and disordered regions between the onset field of the SMP anomaly and the spinodal line located just prior to the irreversibility line. A multi-critical point and a critical point in the (H,T) region of the Bragg glass phase have been marked in this phase diagram and the observed behavior is discussed in the light of recent data on multi-critical point in the vortex phase diagram in a single crystal of Nb.     

Spherical dye-doped silica particles

Organic dyes such as water soluble porphyrins were incorporated into monodispersed SiO₂ particles using the sol-gel technique (the Stober synthesis) and their monomeric and dimeric properties were investigated by aiming at the microcavity effect. Doping efficiencies of dyes into SiO₂ particles depended on dye's hydrophilic properties. The doping efficiency of a porphyrin, TTMAPP, decreased with increasing the nominal content in the starting solution and the doping content showed the maximum value of 1.6×10^–5 mol/g SiO₂. With increasing the TTMAPP content, spectra of doped particles were changed from dimeric to monomeric nature; the absorption peak due to dimers disappeared and halfwidth of absorption at Soret band decreased. This unusual change was caused by the decrease of particle sizes by dye doping. The TTMAPP-doped sample having monomeric spectrum showed the fluorescence life time of 8.5 nsec and photochemical hole burning at about 5 K.     

Reactions of mercury salts with benzo- and tetrafluorobenzobarrelenes

Regiochemistry and stereochemistry of the addition of mercury salts to benzobarrelene and tetrafluorobenzobarrelene have been studied in acetic acid and methanol. Yb原子高激发态的斯塔克光谱

采用ππ偏振激光，通过两步激发和光电离方法，在０－１５４Ｖ／ｃｍ电场范围内，测定了Ｙｂ原子ｎ－１８附近ｍ＝０的斯塔克光谱，首次把包含斯塔克效应的能量矩阵对角化方法推广到Ｙｂ原子，所获得的理论斯塔克图与实验结果基本符合，观察到低场中斯塔克簇随电场增加呈现线性结构以及＾１Ｐ１态与斯塔克簇在抗交叉过程中振子强度发生转移的现象，讨论了结构与量子亏损的关系。
